Assamese Boy Stands Out in NASA. Also Becomes Space Ambassador to India

Assam shines again and this time it's at NASA. A 22 year old boy, Manash Pratim Borah from the state became the first person from the Northeast  region to have led an Indian  team to NASA. Manash and his team  won the Best International Team  Award- Jesco Von Puttakamer Award -at the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge,  2016.
They brought the award for creating a human  exploration rover for alien  surfaces with a non-pneumatic wheel.
Manash is also the first from northeast to become the Space Ambassador to India on behalf of NASA and the International  Space Education Institute  (ISEI), Germany. This wonder boy from Assam has surely made it big at such an young age. Attaboy!
